How to Enter Game Results

This process will allow you to enter or change a score as well as any other information about a game.

Home Team Enters the Final Score

  1. Select your team from the Team dropdown list at the top right of the page (you may have to first select the appropriate Season and League).
  2. Click the "Results" link on the left.
  3. On the Season Results page, find the game you wish to edit and click on the "Edit Game Results" icon to the right of the game. (The icon is a pencil on a page.) You should then be at a dialog box entitled, “Edit - Game Results.”
  4. Enter the score or any additional result changes and optionally, game commentary.
  5. If the game was cancelled, don’t enter any score. Rather, check the box next to Cancelled, and in Comments, indicate why. If the game was rained out, note that in Comments.
  6. Click Submit to confirm changes.

Note that if you skip Step #2, you’ll be at the Result Entry Form, which isn’t what you want.

Enter Pitch Count, Innings Pitched, Hitting, and Fielding for Your Team

Follow Steps 1-3 above.

  1. On the Season Results page, find the game you wish to edit and click the "Edit Game Statistics" icon. It looks like a tiny green bar chart and is on the right of the Edit Game Results icon. You should then be at a screen entitled, “Player Statistics.”
  2. For AA teams, skip this step and steps 3 and 4. Click the Pitching tab at the top right of the grid.
  3. For each pitcher used in a game, enter pitch count in the PT (pitches thrown) column and innings pitched in the IP (innings pitched) column. Optionally, you may record any other pitching information you feel comfortable with. In AAA we don't calculate ERA; it would just be runs against. There are no pick-offs or balks on the 60-foot diamond.
  4. Click Save to confirm changes.
  5. Click the Hitting tab at the top right of the grid.
  6. For each player who attended the game, enter their hit / ROE / walk / strike out, runs, and bases stolen (if applicable). A hit (1, 2, or 3) occurs when a batted ball is fielded correctly and the runner gets to a certain base on the merrit of the hit alone -- don't count bases achieved due to errors such as overthrows. A home run occurs when the batted ball travels through the air and lands beyond the home run line. A player getting to base on any other kind of batted ball is probably reaching base on error (ROE).
  7. Click Save to confirm changes.
  8. Click the Fielding tab at the top right of the grid.
  9. For each player who attended the game, enter their position in each inning they were on the field. Optionally, record the put outs and errors made.
  10. Click Save to confirm changes.
